Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Trelys (the “Service”), operated by Trelys (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Trelys aggregates publicly available California tax-defaulted and tax-deed auction listings and enriches them with public assessor and GIS data, alongside analytical tools. The Service is an information and analytics tool only.

Trelys does not provide legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and is not a broker, dealer, or real estate licensee. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation to buy or bid on any property. All investment decisions are yours alone. Consult a licensed attorney and financial advisor before purchasing any property.

Listings and property data are sourced from county tax collectors, county assessor rolls, and county GIS services. Coverage, completeness, and freshness vary by county, and public records can contain errors or become outdated. We provide the data “as is” and do not warrant its accuracy or completeness. Always verify property details, auction terms, minimum bids, and eligibility directly with the county before bidding.

Paid access is offered on a monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. New subscriptions may include a free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your account settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period, and cancellation stops future charges. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

You agree not to resell, redistribute, scrape, or bulk-export data from the Service except as expressly permitted; not to share your account credentials; and not to use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, and compiled data presentations, is owned by Trelys and protected by law. Underlying public records remain public records. Your account grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service while your subscription is active.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trelys is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its data, including any property purchase decision. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
